I wanted to share this fix that has caused me issues in the past, but now I have a fix for it. 

Problem
Typing in www.google.com in your browser comes back with an error or 404 not found. 

Solution
You can try to type www.google.com in any browsers that may be on your PC, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc., etc, all return with error 404. You can update your virus definitions, perform a virus scan, malware scan and reboot. Nothing seems to help.  So here is the solution.  You need to click here to save and run this free utility.  This free and very powerful program will release and reset your IP address, it will also clear your DNS and host file.  Once you download the file, just run it.  It will prompt you a couple of times, but just follow the directions and your PC will reboot once it is done.  Once your PC reboots, you should be able to go to Google.com again.  Please email me at virusfixed@gmail.com if this does not work for you and I will attempt to find you a solution.
